We initially thought this to be Scrub beefwood, "Stenocarpus salignus" which grows in rainforest. We now have correctly identifed this as "Hakea florulenta". The other "Hakea sp." we have seen in the Park are the "H. laevipes" and the "H. actites". All are shown in the gallery. According to Barry's book this plant, the "H. florulenta" has broader leaf-like phyllodes, and longer flowers.
